One ball of yarn

So pleased that I was able to make three projects out of one ball of Peaches and Creme yarn - only about $1.78 - so cool! A baby bib, a babydoll bib, and a little dish rag.

Also worked on an early Valentine craft - with, yep, glitter and sparkly pipe cleaners! It is truly my favorite holiday!

aaaccchhhhoooo!

I have recently become a fan of the wooden shapes, boxes, ornaments they have at craft stores. Here is a tissue box that Claudia painted for our bathroom. Doesn't your nose feel better already? Also ... only cost $3.99 and we had the paints.
I bought her a blank wooden purse for her birthday - plan to paint it pink and let her glue on the sparkles!!

Star Wars plus Glitter = not fabulous

So ... inspired by Henry's love of all things Star Wars I thought we could combine or two loves in holy matrimony. A good idea, but not as successful as I had hoped. Darth Vader turned out pretty well, but pretty disappointed in C3PO who just looks like a crusty light bulb and the storm trooper seems a bit Vegas. Anyway - here's to experimentation!!

Winter Wonderland

Some of the ornament type decorations we now have decorating our front door. Switching gears to pure winter decorations. There are renditions of the rare purple spotted door watcher and the venomous bicolored bluebird - a real welcoming sight. The painted and glittered evergreens are a team effort and I have to say I did the Winter Wonderland all myself, because ... I love glitter.
